St. Maarten

Our first port was St. Maarten.
there was the most beautiful sun rise a we docked early that morning.
We didn't have any shore excursions scheduled, we wanted to explore the French and the Dutch sides of the island and then spend a day playing on the beach with Tyler and Thomas.

I found this great little shop selling every spice that you can imagine.
It was the perfect "souvenir" for me...I love to cook!

After a little shopping on the French side, (cool new sunglasses Thomas!) we took a cab back over to the Dutch side to find a beach.

The boys both took a cat nap on our beautiful, and peaceful taxi ride.

We found a pristine beach called Divi Little Bay that we enjoyed for the remainder of our day in St. Maarten.

We played for hours!

It was so much fun!
The waves would crash and toss the boys up the shore.
We would laugh and laugh and wait for another big wave to do it again.

This was a beautiful day!

This is a picture looking back at the beach at Divi.
We ate lunch at this lovely cafe and the went swimming again in their cafe side pool.

We are waiting to get back on the Disney Magic and Thomas cannot believe how BIG the cruise ships are so he and Brad sitting there talking about it pointing up at these huge ships...they both looked so small. It was a really sweet moment.

WOW...great family picture, but my hair is totally unfortunate!
