Snow Shoeing

The day after Christmas I went with Drew Jenny and Carly snow shoeing up North Canyon Park. There was almost a foot of fresh powder.

It was beautiful and so quiet.
I was in heaven!

Santa Came!!

Brad and I had such an enjoyable Christmas Eve together getting everything ready for Santa to come.

As the boys slept waiting for Santa to come, Brad and I watched Irving Berlin's White Christmas (my choice), and then Casino Royal (his choice).

These are our ornaments that we gave each other this year.

Santa brought Tyler Fridgets, a marble maze for the fridge, and Gear Teck, another fun toy.

Thomas got Star Wars Lego's ...

And this Hot Wheels race track.

Here I am opening the gift that Thomas gave to me and Brad...
It is the photo at the bottom of this page.
It says "Dear Santa,
I am trying to be good!

The best gift we all got was a Disney Cruise!!

Present from Kuni and Yingdi, our friends from Asia.

Yingdi, Brad's friend and partner from China brought the boys some wonderful new Spyder snow suits. They are so great, and the boys love wearing them! Thomas is so proud to have a "Spider Man Coat" Thanks Yingdi!!!!!Brad's friend from Japan Kunihito Toma also sent Thomas and Tyler a present from Japan. Kuni said that his dream was to have a whole room full of them when he was younger. Kuni told Brad that he was living vicariously through Thomas and Tyler by sending them this gift.

As you can see, Thomas was so excited that we had to put the present behind the tree. He had no idea what was in the present but was so excited. Thanks Kuni!!!!!

BINGO

Every year Brad's Grandpa Rigby gathers together his family for a wonderful Christmas party.
His Christmas gift to all of his family is to have this Bingo Party.
Yes BINGO!

This tradition started with Grandma Rigby.
It go to be too much to give every child, grandchild, great grandchild, spouses etc... a gift that they loved so, she bought gifts all year long and saved it for this party. She filled a big room with all sorts of fabulous gifts.
That is where the Bingo comes in. After dinner we play several games of Bingo. Everyone wins each time the game is played. When you call Bingo you get to run into the room and pick out any gift that you like. We all come away with 5 or 6 wonderful gifts that we love!

Grandpa is carrying on the tradition!

The boys are thrilled with the gifts that they picked out!

It is so fun to be with all of the people that we love!

Layne brought his girlfriend Rachael.

A Boyle Family Tradition!

One of my favorite Boyle Family Traditions is that the Sunday after Grandpa Rigby's Bingo Party we go down to the Conference Center and listen to the Tabernacle Choir sing.

The music envelopes you!
The orchestra, the choir, and the bells...It's magical!

David and Stormy

After the performance we came back to our home, exchanged Christmas presents, and had lunch together before everyone headed back to Boise.

Thanks Grandma Bev for the awesome toys!
We love you!!
