Christmas 2009

We have made it a family tradition to have fondue every Christmas Eve.
We usually prepare it at home. This year we went to the Melting Pot.
The boys had such a great time trying EVERYTHING!

This was so much fun!!
After the Melting Pot, we came home and read in Luke, the story of the birth of Christ,
the boys got to choose one gift to open that night,
then Brad and I stayed up and got all ready for Christmas morning.
My favorite part of Christmas morning is when the boys ask...
"Did Santa actually come?"
and I respond with a nod of my head...
The thrill and delight that races through their little bodies is sheer joy to me!!!

Tyler got EXTRA excited about getting the "Touch and Brush"
He saw it on TV and told us he wanted it almost every other day!

Tyler and Thomas were so excited to open this gift from Grandma Alice in Fiji!

They loved the boats, and the Fijian shirts
(Thomas wore his all Christmas Day and today too)...
But they especially loved the swords.
These gifts brought tears to my eyes!!!
Tyler and Thomas bought Dad this mini golf course for his office.
Guess what toy is now down in our game room???
Thomas practicing his putting
It's funny that one of Thomas' favorite gifts was a ream of paper...
He LOVES art!
This is the gift that Tyler made at school for our family. I love his hand writing!
Tyler and Thomas got the most wonderful gift from his Grandma and Grandpa Boyle.
They let us borrow their skee ball machine for a while.
It is one toy that brings the most joy to Tyler!!!
Thank you so much!!!
Lastly to complete our new game room ...
Arcade Hoops!!
It truly was a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Evan wanted the "touch and brush" too! I did not get it for him though--maybe he can just come over and use yours! :) Glad you had a great Christmas!

What a wonderful Christmas you had together. I am grateful to be a grandmother to such wonderful boys and to see you creating warm memories as a family. Your lounge suite looks great, Erin. Our shopping trip was such fun for me. It was also great to tune in to your Christmas day via the Skype. Thanks to Bradley for setting us up. Can't wait to see the new game room!!
