10 Things I Did This Week

*Gave my boys haircuts.
*Refereed 2 girls basketball games.
*Went to the Temple.
*Went to Tolman's Community Council meeting.
*Had a delicious "Girls Lunch" Celebrating Jamie's birthday.
*Went to RS conference on Fortifying your Faith, Family, and Finances...so good!
*Went to the Davis Technology Conference where I learned about all of the new technology to put in our schools to help our children learn...so exciting!
*Went on a skiing date with Brad. We spent ALL DAY at Snow Basin!!!
*Had a surprise party for my friend Krista.
*Went out to lunch and shopping at the Gateway with Jenny and Courtney to celebrate Courtney's birthday...SO many birthdays this week!
It was a very full and fulfilling week!

Karate!

Thomas started taking Karate a couple of weeks ago.
HE LOVES IT!

Pinewood Derby 2009

Last night our Scout Den had their annual Pinewood Derby.

Tyler's car was awesome!
We had a great time putting the cars together as a family.

Thomas insisted that he have his own car again this year.
I love all of the graphite on his face.

Our Family Ski Day at Snowbird

Every year, Tyler gets the opportunity to take skiing lessons at
Snowbird Ski Resort through Wasatch Adaptive Sports.
It is a wonderful program put on by Shriner's Hospital.
It gives special needs children the chance to experience all kinds of adaptive sports.

All Things Dinosaur

At the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum was a fun project where the kids could be a palaeontologist for a day.
Before getting started, Reed and Thomas are practicing the dinosaur ROAR!

Bella is excavating this dinosaur egg.

Carly is brushing away the sand.

Reed found the dinosaur inside.

We did it!

Thomas is having so much fun right now with all things dino!
He set this up so all of his dinosaurs could learn from
his dinosaur pop-up book.

Then, last night Brad and Thomas went on a special "date" to the
Walking with the Dinosaurs Performance .

They had such a great time together!
Brad said that it was so much fun to see Thomas' reaction to these life sized dinos!

FIJI!!

My Sweet Mom finally got her mission call!
She will be spending the next 18 months on the islands of Fiji!
We are so proud of you Mom!!

The Dentist

Poor little Thomas had to get his first filling on Tuesday.
He unfortunately has the Erickson Family curse of SOFT teeth.
The thing that sucks is that he is the best "teeth brusher", and he just didn't understand why this all was happening to him.

It was rather funny to see him so loopy!

Daddy...There's a T-Rex in our house!

Sunday, after Church, Thomas came to me and asked me to help him make "T-Rex" footprints.
It was so fun! He and I sat on the front room floor, we cut, and colored until we had enough footprints as we have stairs. (This was all his idea.)

When all of the footprints were ready, he taped them to the stairs.
Then he told me to wait at the top of the stairs, and scare daddy when he got to the top.
Next I here him as he says to Brad...
"Daddy there is a T-Rex on our house. Come and look!". He leads Brad up the stairs, and I can here them talking about how big the T-Rex must be, and how scared they were.
Finally ,I gave a my best Dinosaur Roar!!
Even though Thomas knew that it was coming, I'm pretty sure that it scared them BOTH!!!

We laughed, and laughed!!!
... Just something that I wanted to remember.
